Jeremy Hunt vows to cut taxes should the Government be afforded the opportunity to do so.
The Chancellor said it was ‘”right” to support families throughout the Covid pandemic, and taxes had to be raised in order to facilitate that.
He added that the Government “recognises” that families are finding times “really tough”, and slashing taxes would help to grow the economy.
