Singer Adele threw her support behind Taylor Swift ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl LVIII.
Swift, who’s been to 12 of the 18 games boyfriend Travis Kelce has played since September, joined the likes of Ice Spice and Blake Lively in the crowd at the Allegiant Stadium to watch her beau play.
Kelce’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, took on the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas in the hopes of bagging American Football’s most prestigious prize.
However, since Swift has started showing her support for her other half at his games, some NFL fans have been irked by the attention being diverted from the sport.
In fact, on Sunday evening, some ITV viewers in the UK ended up “switching off” coverage altogether due to the number of times Swift was mentioned.
But not one to jump on the bandwagon, Adele shared her thoughts on the backlash facing Swift a few days before Sunday’s big event.

While performing on stage in Vegas this weekend, Adele took a moment to speak to the crowd.
A clip of it was shared on a fan account which showed Adele sitting by her pianist and saying: “I think I want the 49ers to win… but I also want the Chiefs to win.”
As the crowd cheered, Adele continued: “I think I want the Chiefs to win just because of Taylor Swift…”
The audience’s cheers got louder which led Adele to address the controversy surrounding her attendance at NFL games directly.

Adele let loose: “And all of you that are complaining about Taylor being at the game, get a f****** life – it’s her f****** boyfriend!
“She’s actually made it more enjoyable to watch,” Adele added, again prompting raucous applause from the crowd.
Swift didn’t appear to let any naysayers get the better of her as she was all smiles upon her arrival at the Las Vegas stadium.
She was even spotted smiling and dancing along to Post Malone who took to the field to perform ahead of kick-off.
