Usher’s half-time performance during this year’s Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers has come under fire from thousands across the globe.
As the players took a well-deserved break in the Allegiant Stadium locker rooms, Usher took to the field to belt out a long list of his best-known hits.
The singer began with Caught Up before he reeled off a few more of his solo hits.
As the half-time show progressed, Usher was joined by several other famous faces and collaborators from years gone by.
Alicia Keys prompted raucous applause from the crowd when she was unveiled as one guest performer – the pair sang My Boo together.
Soon after, Will.i.am took to the stage for a rendition of OMG while H.E.R also showed off her talents on the guitar while Usher strutted his stuff.

Ludacris and Lil John also accompanied Usher on the field to see out the half-time show, getting the crowd jumping with a rendition of their early noughties hit, Yeah!
While the thousands in attendance were on their feet, it’s safe to say the performance fell a bit flat with several watching at home.
Complaints flooded in from the very beginning of the performance, with many moaning that the sound quality was “awful”, that Keys was singing off-pitch, and that there was no “wow moment” from any of the performers.
Taking issue with the sound quality, one X user fumed: “Usher is horrible in live settings. Could barely hear him on top of that. Worst half time show in a long time.”

“Worse half time show ever!!!! Didn’t even hear Usher sing properly. Really disappointed,” a second similarly complained while a third echoed: “This is historically bad. Congrats.”
“Every year the half time show is worse and worse #SuperBowl THIS S**T DIDN’T BREAK THE INTERNET,” a fourth hit out while a fifth bluntly put: “The worst superbowl halftime show performance ever.”
Even those who enjoyed Usher’s performance couldn’t help but criticise the audio problems that plagued it, including one person who weighed in: “It was a great show, but audio was awful… got a little better towards the end, but you could barely hear Usher at all.”
A second diplomatic viewer concurred: “Seen better and seen worse half time shows. There to me was no wow moment. Disappointing on the sound quality from most of it. Got better when Usher went to a mic.”

While others were staunch in their defence of the Confessions hitmaker, including one person who argued: “Honestly usher did an incredible job. Everyone involved really. Best half time show in years.”
“That was one of the best half time shows I’ve seen… I mean YEAH!” a second similarly celebrated. (sic)
As well as the millions at home, several famous faces were at the Las Vegas stadium to witness the musical extravaganza.
One person who’d garnered plenty of press attention for their attendance was Taylor Swift who showed her support for boyfriend Travis Kelce.
